Teaching would remain the best Vikalp(option/alternative) for me perhaps for all times to come as I am seeing more of me with each day that passes with lectureship & writing. This is going to be one more platform other than books & classrooms where you will read me, where you will see me, where you will listen to me. A teacher in me that is an ardent advocate of study through books & face-to-face discussions has thought of placing myself on this giant medium of technology but it is still certain that I will always prefer books & face-to-face discussions as the right and the best means of study. There can be nothing more beautiful than having students in front of you in the classroom and that is why I have consistently found the concept of video lectures more mechanistic in nature. But when this virtual world is expanding and developing & the way it is giving enormous opportunities of getting connected with the people, it has become imperative to take these opportunities. This is an attempt to create one more world that is ours. An attempt is to be made to the effect that the attachment that we could feel in books and classrooms that we can feel here as well. So far you have accepted me, it shall be my endeavor to provide you with the reasons for such acceptance further.

સનદી સેવાઓમાં જોડાવાની મારી અભિલાષા જ્યાં સુધી વાસ્તવિકતામાં ના પરિણામે ત્યાં સુધી ભણાવવું એ મારા માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ વિકલ્પ રહેશે. (જે રીતે વ્યાખ્યાતા અને લેખક તરીકે દિવસ પસાર થઇ રહ્યા છે તે જોતાં કદાચ આવનાર તમામ સમય માટે ભણાવવું એ મારા માટે શ્રેષ્ઠ વિકલ્પ બની રહે.) પુસ્તકોથી આગળ હવે એક અલગ માધ્યમ મારફત તમે મને વાંચશો અને વર્ગખંડથી આગળ હવે એક અલાયદા સ્થાને મને જોશો અને સાંભળશો. મારી અંદરનો શિક્ષક કે જે પુસ્તકો અને પ્રત્યક્ષ ચર્ચાઓ જેવા સાધનોથી થતા પ્રત્યક્ષ અભ્યાસનો આગ્રહી રહ્યો છે, તે ટેક્નોલોજીની મદદથી મને એક વિશાળ ફલક પર મૂકવા જઈ રહ્યો છે. છતાં એ ચોક્કસ છે કે હજુ પણ અગ્રતાના અધિક્રમમાં પુસ્તકો અને પ્રત્યક્ષ ચર્ચાઓ જ અગ્રીમ સ્થાન મેળવશે. તેથી જ તો વિડિઓ લેકચર્સનો ખ્યાલ મને કૃત્રિમતાભર્યો વિશેષ લાગ્યો છે. તેમાં લાગણી એવી તો ન જ હોય કે જેવી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તમારી સામે બેઠા હોય ત્યારે હોય. છતાં આ આભાસી વિશ્વ જયારે આટલું વિસ્તરી અને વિકસી રહ્યું છે અને લોકો સાથે જોડાવાની આટલી વિશાળ તકો પૂરી પાડી રહ્યું છે ત્યારે તેવા સમયે આ અવસર ઉભો કરવો જ રહ્યો. પ્રયત્ન કરવો છે વધુ એક વિશ્વ ઉભું કરવાનો કે જે આપણું હોય. જે આત્મીયતા આપણે પુસ્તકો અને વર્ગખંડોમાં કેળવી તે અહીં પણ અનુભવીએ. આજ સુધી આપ મને સ્વીકારતા આવ્યા છો, અહીં પણ આપની તે સ્વીકૃતિને કારણ મળી રહે તેવો પ્રયાસ રહેશે.
